Overview
Beit Kahil is a Palestinian village located approximately 10 km northwest of Hebron city. An ancient agricultural community, Beit Kahil has historically been known for its olive groves, grape vineyards, and fruit orchards. Since 1967, the village has faced land confiscation for the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, particularly the Kfar Etzion settlement. The Separation Wall threatens to cut through the village's western agricultural lands. Area C classification of surrounding lands prevents natural expansion and subjects residents to home demolition orders.
Historical Significance
Agricultural village with historic ties to Khirbet Jamrura lands
