Overview

Kharas is a Palestinian town in Hebron Governorate, located northwest of Hebron city. An ancient agricultural community, Kharas has historically been known for olive cultivation and grain farming. Since 1967, the town has faced land confiscation for nearby settlements and is surrounded by Area C lands that severely restrict natural expansion. Like other towns in western Hebron, Kharas has been affected by the Separation Wall's encroachment on agricultural lands.
